1. Overview

SPLIT-X ("we", "us") is a workout tracking app that lets you build a custom training split and log your lifts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SPLIT-X you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account info — the email address you sign up with and a display username you set.
Workout data — your training plan, logged sets (weight, reps, exercise), cardio sessions (activity, duration, distance and estimated calories), body weight entries, and session dates.
Social data — if you use Premium friends, your friend connections and the aggregate comparison data you share with them.
Billing info — subscription status processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage data — basic analytics and crash reports to keep the app stable.

3. How we use your information

To save and display your workouts, plan and progress.
To calculate summaries, PRs and friend comparisons.
To manage your subscription and billing.
To provide support and respond to your enquiries.
To improve and maintain the app.

We never sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Who can see your data

Your workout data is private to you. If you use the friends feature, connected friends can see your weekly volume, set count and best lifts — the aggregate comparison data, not your individual set logs unless you choose to share them. You can remove a friend at any time to revoke access.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure with row-level access controls tied to your account. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by SPLIT-X. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.

6. Your rights

You can view, export or delete your account and workout data at any time. To request export or deletion, email privacy@split-x.app. You may also cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.

7. Children

SPLIT-X is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of SPLIT-X after a change means you accept the revised policy.
